
| The official publisher for the conference is Springer LNCS/AI (Lecture Notes in Computer Science/Artificial Intelligence series). In order to submit a paper, please follow carrefully the following steps: | ![]() |
1. First, have a look to the Springer author page
The format for papers to be submitted to Virtual Worlds 2000 is the Springer LNCS/AI format available at http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html. You will find on this site all the required information for writing your paper usings Latex (recommended by Springer) or MS-Word on PC/Macintosh. We recommend you to select and download one of the template file provided by Springer, such as typeinst.doc for use with MS-Word on a PC for example.
2. Your camera-ready files must be accompanied by a signed copyright form
This form can be found on the Springer author guidelines at the same address.
3. Send us all your files
Send us an email with your compressed files as an attached document. Email it to the Conference Chairman. You will receive an acknowledge after the reception (and a printout of your paper). Please note that in any case, your submission must be received before the deadline: 1st April 2000.

Policy on paper publication
At least one author of each accepted paper is required to attend the conference to present the work. Papers breaking this rule will not be considered for publication in the conference proceedings.
Policy on multiply submissions
Authors will be required to transfer copyright of their paper. Thus, the conference will not accept for publication any paper which, at the time of the conference and its submission process, is already published in a journal or in a conference proceedings. Authors are also expected not to submit their paper elsewhere during Virtual Worlds's review period.
Official language
Due to the international nature of the conference, the official language is english. French researchers are allowed to submit their paper to the program committee in french (application of the french regulation).
