JASON SNEED: CONSYNPRO

CONSYNPRO. This San Francisco based group aims to pre-define the future
by working with emerging art forms and technologies. In this aim there is
but one constant, the continual synthesis of new tools and ideas into a
signal projected throughout the world; a "Constant Synthesis Project."
ConSynPro's maiden voyage was a trip across the United States, using a national-range
pager, laptop computer and remote Internet access to explore the technological
arts communities of cities across the nation -- beginning the four year
exploration to date.
The web site contains sections: Contributors: profiles of the main contributors
with links to their work.
Production: A look at the ConSynPro production process and client list.
Scrap: .A web-zine exploring the frontiers of art, music, and technology,
made from recycled article content first appearing in print magazines, web
sites and digizines on CD-ROM. Scrap contains feature articles, interviews,
music and media reviews, and environmental updates.
Stone Soup: ConSynPro hosts a series of electronic music and digital media
parties, named after a European folk tale about the power of enthusiasm
and cooperation. Some events are webcast -- this section contains information
about past and future events.
